Ashampoo Burning Studio Free - Free Burning Software
There are so many different burning software, but to find a moderate burning software for free, and easy to use is not easy . Ashampoo Burning Studio Free will meet your needs. Ashampoo Burning Studio Free is a free disc burning utility that allows you to record many different disc formats, even the Blu-ray format - a format that very few programs support burning (of course, your burner must support the disc recording format).
Ashampoo Burning Studio Free is a no-nonsense performer that not only burns data, music, and video discs but also copies and rips discs, backs up and restores data, creates disc images, and erases rewritable discs. New features in version 1.14.5 include more powerful tools, multidisc file backup and restore, an integrated Audio CD ripper that creates high-quality WMA or WAV files, and verification without ejecting the disc in supported drives.
Pros
Startup splash screen: New software shouldn't leave you guessing, and Burning Studio Free's splash screen helped us learn about, recommend, and register the product (registration is free).
Clean and plain: Burning Studio Free's plain Explorer-style layouts are a refreshing change from disc tools that pretend to be a recording studio console, and the program's menu lists its features in plain language: Burn Data, Backup & Restore, Music, Movie, and so on.
Backup: Burning Studio Free can create and restore compressed, password-protected archives of your discs and data. It also creates and burns disc images from data files and stores file backups on CD, DVD, or Blu-ray discs -- or to your hard drive, USB drive, or other storage device.
Cons
Not a full backup: Don't get us wrong; Burning Studio Free's backup feature is most welcome, but it's not a replacement for a solution that can back up and restore your entire system or discs when (not if) catastrophe strikes.
Bottom Line
Ashampoo's products have often impressed us with their performance -- not flashy style. Burning Studio Free certainly reinforces the impression.
Once installed, look at the interface, you would immediately know the features and usage of the program. With each type of disc to burn, you simply choose from the context menu, including:
- Burn Files and Folders : create or update data discs (for the type of disc for recording and editing after the recording).
- Burn or Rip Music : create music CDs (CD normal to play on the player or disc compression).Additionally, you can also rip CD to copy the file from the disk into the computer.
- Burn Movie : creating movie disc format VCD, SVCD, DVD and Bluray.
- Create / Burn Disc Images : Create image file (image) of the disk or burn to a disc image file. This way, you can backup disk image file only under 1 (instead of copying the entire file and folder in the external drive as a regular).
- Erase : Remove the disc for disc types supported write / erase many times.
In addition to the above the burner, the program has one very useful feature, which is back up and restore data on a CD or hard disk partitions. To use this feature, select 'Back up or Restore Files and Folders', select the 'Backup files and folders' to proceed with the backup, or 'an existing Restore backup' to restore after backup.
With the option ' Backup Files and Folders ', you can create a backup of data and store them on one specific partition of the hard drive, or burn directly to CD / DVD / Blu-ray to ensure safety. Above are the main features of the program useful. Hopefully, with Ashampoo Burning Studio Free , you will no longer get stuck when you want to burn, and your burner will become more useful.
