Before you begin the process of downloading the software installed you must make sure the printer has been set up properly.

• Close all programs screen savers, antivirus and other programs running on the computer.
• Click on Download Now and a File Download dialog box appears.
• Choose Save and Save As dialog box appears
• Select a location to save the file and navigate to the saved location when the download has completed.
• Double click the file to extract the driver to a suitable location (default is C: Program Drivers FilesHewlett-PackardLaserJet 1018).However you can change the path and directory name.

Follow the wizard to install.
