There are quite a few software restore text messages (SMS) from the SIM, phone and most of them have to pay to use. However if you are using a Nokia phone, then you're in luck because you will not have to pay the cost of any one know how to restore SMS.

To proceed to restore SMS, follow these steps: - Download and install software free file manager FExplorer.
 

- Run FExplorer and navigate to the C: drive if you use the phone's memory (usually the default) or drive D: nheu you use the memory card to store SMS. 

- Open the folder system.

- Then open the mail folder. This folder will contain a subfolder named with the filename format 00001001_S 0010xxxx format (SMS are deleted). 

- Use the tools available to read text in FExplorer to view this file.

If you need to restore messages not included in this directory, you can move to another folder until you find the desired message.
