Directory List & Print - Print or save a list of folders into one file

There is an easy way to print and save the folder list using a free tool. Directory List & Print 2.11.11.1 allows you to create a list of folders can be customized, saved as files, and printing.

Note: There is a free version and a Pro version List & Print Directory. Some features in the free version will be disabled and can only be used in Pro version for $ 20. However, the free version still provides plenty of useful features to create a list of folders that you can print or save.

One of the special features of the Directory List & handy Print is the ability to add options to the Explorer context menu for the folder. This allows you to quickly create a list for a folder in Explorer. To do this, you have to have self-running program as an admin. Right-click the .exe file and select Run as administrator from the popup menu .

When the program opens, select the Add to Directory Context Menu from the Setup menu.

A dialog box will display information claiming that the option has been added to the menu.

To create a list of folders, right-click on a folder in Windows Explorer and select Open in Directory List + Printfrom the popup menu.

The program opens and a list of the selected folder appear in the text box at the bottom of the window is always visible, no effect on the active tab at the top of the window . Directory tab will display allowing you to select a folder and set the favorite mode, or the folder from which you can create a normal list. Some common system folders has been added to the Favorites for easier access.

If you want a list of folders on a network drive, use the Network Drive option on the menu in the Directory List & Print Setup . You can also drag and drop a folder from Windows Explorer into the program window to quickly create a list of items.

Under the selection pane, you can choose what type of file information you want in your final list. The many options include file size, creation date, and more. This is very helpful if you're targeting specific information.

Lists ready to copy: The directory lists are displayed in plain text in the bottom window of the application, so you can easily Select All and copy the list contents to your clipboard.

Very confusing interface: If you're new to this type of program, there is little to tell you how to go about using it.

No sharing features: We were able to Send to Word or Excel, but we'd also appreciate the ability to automatically upload the data to Dropbox or to share it some other way with team members.

Directory List & Print Pro allows you to create a comprehensive and accurate list of your directories. It provides good customization so that you can retrieve the exact data that you're looking for. However, you have limited options for what you can do with that data once you have it.
